When TikTok collective Hype House debuted in December 2019, the group was heavily criticized for a lack of diversity among its members, which include 17-year-old LilHuddy and sisters Charli and Dixie D’Amelio. Since then, more diverse and inclusive collectives have formed, such as University of Diversity and Cabin 6, which carve out space for creators across spectrums of race, gender, and sexuality.
