Slowthai leaves NME Awards after altercation with crowd

Slowthai has left the NME Awards 2020 following an altercation with the crowd.

During his acceptance speech for the fan-voted Hero Of The Year Award, Slowthai directly engaged with members of the audience. Following a verbal exchange and objects being thrown, he jumped into the crowd before security intervened and Slowthai was escorted from the stage.
