Describing her experience making the film, Noomi Rapace told Variety: âA script like this is rare and I directly felt that I had to do it. Iâve never done anything like this before and I canât wait to start filming and go back to my roots in Iceland.â
The film premiered at this year’s Cannes film festival, alongside films including Annette, Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch, Benedetta and more.
In other A24 news, the studio announced earlier this year it would be producing a “secret slasher film” called Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.Â
The film is set to star Borat 2 actress Maria Bakalova, Amandla Stenberg, Pete Davidson and Myha’la Herrold. It will be directed by Dutch actress Halina Reijn in sophomore feature. All plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
Lamb will be released in the US on October 8. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
