Korean girl group (G)I-DLE are eager to claim the global throne. And on their latest single, “Oh My God,” they’ve never sounded more confident. That unwavering belief in themselves, led by their leader and hitmaker Soyeon, is the (G)I-DLE genre. “We always do the kind of music that we want to do,” Soyeon tells MTV News ahead of the release of their new mini album, “I Trust.”
