Bridgerton might be synonymous with soapy drama and steamy sex scenes but it’s also known for orchestral covers of classic pop songs.
Created by Chris Van Dusen, the Netflix period drama follows the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society in the early 1800s.
After two seasons and a spin-off, the show returned for a third season in May 2024. A fourth season is currently in development.
For the third season, Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson and Simone Ashley all reprise their roles. Hannah Dodd, meanwhile, takes over the role of Francesca Bridgerton after the original actor Ruby Stokes left the show during season two.
Who composed the soundtrack for Bridgerton?
The show’s score is composed by Kris Bowers, whose previous credits include Dear White People, When They See Us and King Richard. He also provided the soundtrack for spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
