BTS singer Jungkook has dropped a teaser for an upcoming project titled I Am Still.

Today (July 12), BTS’ Jungkook unveiled a cryptic teaser image that reads “I Am Still” on the boyband’s social media accounts, accompanied by the caption “coming soon to cinemas”.

While Big Hit Music has yet to specify what format the project will take, it appears to be a documentary following the singer through his solo career.

Back in November, Jungkook guested on an episode of Suchwita hosted by bandmate Suga, where he shared that he was in the midst of shooting a documentary film. Fans are now speculating that I Am Still is the film the singer was talking about to.

Jungkook kicked off his solo career last July with his single ‘Seven’ featuring American rapper Latto. This was followed two months later by ‘3D’ featuring Jack Harlow. In November 2023, he released his solo album ‘Golden’ which was led by the single ‘Standing Next To You’.

Jungkook is currently serving his mandatory military service, having enlisted in December 2023. Last month, he released a fan-dedicated single titled ‘Never Let Go’ as part of BTS’ annual Festa celebrations.

Earlier today (July 12), Disney+ released the first trailer for its upcoming reality show Are You Sure?!, which follows Jungkook and BTS bandmate Jimin as they travel in the US, South Korea’s Jeju Island and Sapporo in Japan. It premieres later this month.

In other K-pop news, boy band ENHYPEN have made a comeback with their second studio album ‘Romance: Untold’. The new nine-track record is led by the single ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes)’.
