(G)I-DLE singer Miyeon recently covered Taeyeon’s 2023 single ‘To. X’ on Lee Mujin Service.
(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon made a guest appearence on the latest episode of YouTube music talk show Lee Mujin Service to promote the girl group’s latest mini-album ‘I Sway’ and its lead single ‘Klaxon’. During the episode, the singer performed solo versions of (G)I-DLE songs ‘Klaxon’ and ‘Hann (Alone in Winter)’.
Elsewhere during her appearance, the singer also covered Yoon Mi-rae’s 2018 song ‘Because of You’ and Taeyeon’s 2023 single ‘To. X’. “In our texts today / Your new t-shirt’s / All we talk about / I think I get it now / Gonna block you / Lights out, To. X,” she sings on the chorus.
(G)I-DLE made their comeback with their seventh mini-album ‘I Sway’ and lead single ‘Klaxon’ earlier this week. All four tracks on the record were co-composed or written by the group’s members. It marks their second music release this year, following their second studio album ‘[2]’ and its title track ‘Super Lady’ back in January.
In other K-pop news, the upcoming KCON festival in Los Angeles will be broadcast live on US national television for the first time ever. Groups like NCT 127, STAYC and ZEROBASEONE are set to perform.
Elsewhere, boy band ENHYPEN have made a comeback with their long-awaited second studio album ‘Romance: Untold’. The record was accompanied by a music video for its title track ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes)’ which was released at the same time.
