The Eagles have once again extended their upcoming Sphere residency. Find out when the new dates are, and where to buy tickets, below.

After months of speculation that they would be taking on the Nevada megavenue, Eagles confirmed their upcoming residency last month with the announcement of an eight-show stint. Since then, they’ve already extended the residency once, adding eight more shows only two weeks after the initial news.

Now, they have confirmed they’ll be playing an additional four dates, which will see the residency stretch into 2025. A tweet from Live Nation pointed to an “overwhelming demand”, from fans, meaning they’ll now play 20 shows from September 20 to January 25.

They’ll be the fourth band to take on the Sphere’s colossal, state-of-the-art stage, following in the footsteps of U2, Phish, and Dead & Company, whose current residency wraps up on August 10.

The new shows take place over two weekends in January, running from Friday 17 to Saturday 25. Pre-registration is available now on the Eagles’ official website, with presale beginning Tuesday, July 23 at 10 AM PT. General on-sale will begin Friday July 26, which you can find alongside any remaining tickets for the other dates here.

The newly announced dates see an extension of their ongoing farewell tour, titled the ‘Long Goodbye’ tour. Part of their plan to play “as many shows in each market as their audience demands” (via Loudwire), the tour began in September last year, and will now run until 2025.

In other news, last month Don Henley filed a lawsuit for the return of his handwritten notes and lyrics from the ‘Hotel California’ album.

Henley filed the civil complaint in New York federal court on June 27, following a previous case against three collectables experts in March, who were accused of trying to sell the notes. The judge dropped the initial case midway after concluding that Don Henley had “manipulated” prosecutors by withholding evidence.

Henley has now filed a lawsuit against rare books dealer Glenn Horowitz, former Rock & Roll Hall of Fame curator Craig Inciardi and rock memorabilia seller Edward Kosinski. A statement from Henley’s lawyer, Daniel Petrocelli, said: “These 100 pages of personal lyric sheets belong to Mr. Henley and his family, and he has never authorized defendants or anyone else to peddle them for profit.”

Lawyers for Kosinski and Inciardi have called the lawsuit “baseless”, stating that Henley’s original trial was dropped due to his misleading the prosecution. Kosinki’s laywer said in a statement that “Don Henley is desperate to rewrite history,” adding: “We look forward to litigating this case and bringing a lawsuit against Henley to hold him accountable for his repeated lies and misuse of the justice system.”

Meanwhile, Inciardi’s lawyer, Stacey Richman, claimed the lawsuit was an attempt to “bully” and “perpetuate a false narrative” in a separate statement. Horowitz’s lawyer did not respond to an email seeking comment.
