Sam Smith has announced a new version of ‘I’m Not The Only One’ featuring Alicia Keys – see the post below.
The original song appears on Smith’s 2014 debut studio album, ‘In The Lonely Hour’. A 10th anniversary edition of the record is due for release tomorrow (August 2), containing a re-recording of ‘Stay With Me’.
Taking to social media, Smith confirmed that the collection will also include a fresh, collaborative take on ‘I’m Not The Only One’. They revealed that it will feature “the truly incomparable” Keys.
“I am so honoured to have such an incredible talent and a beautiful soul join me on this track to celebrate a decade of ‘In The Lonely Hour’. Released with the digital versions of ‘In The Lonely Hour (10th Anniversary Edition)’ this Friday,” Smith continued.

Smith and Keys teamed up for a live duet of ‘I’m Not The Only One’ at NYC’s gay bar Julius’ last month. At the time, Smith said the collaboration was “a dream come true”.
Keys responded: “This is amazing. Can you believe we never did this before? Except for right now? That’s crazy!”
The original recording of ‘I’m Not The Only One’ was released as a single, and reached Number Three in the UK. ‘In The Lonely Hour’ made Smith the only artist to sell one million albums in the US and UK in 2014.

Smith’s fourth and latest full-length album, ‘Gloria’, earned a four-star review from NME upon its release in early 2023.

In other news, Smith has revealed that they were recently in a skiing accident that left them immobilised for a month.
