Mariah Carey caused concern among her fans after she was seen “crying” during an “uncomfortable” live performance.

While performing as part of her residency, called The Celebration of Mimi, at Las Vegas’ Dolby Live – the popstar appeared to get emotional on stage while singing her 1991 hit ‘Make It Happen’.

Midway through the song she takes a moment to compose herself and fans speculate that she was crying.

Fans have been sharing their opinions in the comments of a YouTube video where she is seen getting emotional on stage

One user said: “Something is bothering her. She’s literally on the verge of just melting down in tears.”

Another added: “Unpopular opinion: She should take some time, whatever’s needed, off the public eye and performing, music , everything. Just like Adele does between albums. Focus on healing and come back when the time is right.

“I think whatever’s she’s going through + having to be out there for the fans is not doing her well. Just my opinion guys. Love her and wish her well always.”
