Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins performs in 2024

The Smashing Pumpkins have joined forces with Marc Jacobs for a new fashion capsule collection.

Announced on Instagram, the ‘90s alt-rock icons have teamed up with Heaven by Marc Jacobs to drop a new fashion collection.

The range is comprised of a number of clothing items inspired by the band’s album artwork throughout the years, and includes a ‘Siamese Dream’-themed baby tee – which is already sold out – a matching shoulder bag (£195), an ‘Infinite Sadness’ tour long sleeve tee (£105), and a ‘Zero’ zip-up hoodie (£225).

A skirt, oversized ringer tee and a hoodie are also available.

As expected, the entire collection is pretty pricey, with the t-shirts priced at around £100, hoodies at £225, the bag at £195 and the skirt at £250. You can check out the entire range here.

This isn’t the first time that the fashion house has teamed up with some iconic artists from the rock world for a fashion collab. Before launching the partnership with The Smashing Pumpkins, the brand also launched collections inspired by both Cocteau Twins and Deftones.

The announcement of the joint range comes just days after the Billy Corgan-led group dropped their surprise album ‘Aghori Mhori Mei’.

Announced in July, the LP marked the 13th album from the alt-rock icons and followed on from ‘Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts’, which arrived in May 2023.

The members also confirmed that they would not be sharing any singles beforehand. “We played this game of Rock and Roll for 36 years,” the frontman wrote in a statement. “And… had to give the knee many times to what is the first song and what is the first statement and let other people judge us by one moment in time. We felt the right way to hear this record was an intact body of work.”

In other Smashing Pumpkins news, Corgan recently addressed his recent comments about not wanting to play Smashing Pumpkins hits by sharing a recent setlist that is bursting with the band’s biggest songs.

Additionally, he announced in February that he would be releasing a new unscripted series called Adventures In Carnyland. The show will reportedly focus on his involvement in wrestling – with the musician serving as the president of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) since 2017. The trailer dropped earlier this summer.
