Only Murders In The Building season 4

Only Murders In The Building has become one of the most acclaimed comedy shows of the past decade.

Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, the series follows a trio of true crime podcast enthusiasts who become friends and begin investigating murders within their apartment complex.

Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez lead the show’s cast, with guest stars over the past four seasons including Cara Delevingne, Meryl Streep, and Paul Rudd.

Since the show began in 2021, it has won four Primetime Emmy Awards from a total of 49 nominations, including Outstanding Guest Actor for Nathan Lane.

Is Only Murders In The Building season 5 happening?

At the time of writing, Hulu has yet to announce whether the show will return for a fifth season. The show’s fourth season was greenlit when the season three finale dropped in October 2023, so it’s possible we’ll hear more news once season four concludes later this year.

When could a potential season 5 come out?

A new season of Only Murders In The Building has been released annually since the show started in 2021, so unless the creators decide to take a break or conclude it entirely, it’s likely a fifth season could come out in 2025.

What have the cast and creators said about a potential season 5?

While little has been said about another season, Selena Gomez gave a vague statement when asked about the show’s future during an interview with Variety.

“I honestly don’t know what the future holds,” Gomez said. “Every season, we put everything into the show as if it’s our last. I’m really happy with how it’s blossomed and am content right now. But again, who knows? Let’s see what happens.”
