Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher performing live on stage with Oasis

Oasis will reportedly announce more dates for their 2025 UK and Ireland reunion tour, with Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs expected to join the band’s line-up.

Yesterday (August 27) it was revealed that Liam and Noel Gallagher had finally buried the hatchet and will embark on a huge comeback tour with Oasis next summer, dubbed ‘OASIS LIVE 25’.

The upcoming run of gigs currently consists of multiple dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST this Saturday (August 31) – you’ll be able to buy yours here (UK), and here (Ireland). Fans can also sign up for a ballot to access a pre-sale on Friday (30) before 7pm BST today (28).

Ticketmaster has outlined its strict rules for purchasing tickets ahead of the sales – confirming that customers will only be able to order four tickets per household and card.

A source has now told The Sun (via The Standard) that “these shows will sell out in less than three minutes”, adding: “Extra dates will be added for sure.”

It was previously reported that the reunited Oasis could play a record-breaking 10 nights at Wembley Stadium – which would surpass Taylor Swift‘s recent eight-night run at the venue on her ‘Eras Tour’.

As it stands, the Gallaghers are scheduled to perform four concerts at the stadium in late July and early August.

When reacting to the reunion news, many fans expressed their concerns over how difficult it could be to secure tickets for Oasis’ first live shows in 16 years.

Additionally, there has been a lot of talk about who could be joining Liam and Noel in the line-up. Previous reports claimed “no other original Oasis member is expected to join the reunion”, and that “the members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will step in”.

The Sun has now reported that Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is set to participate in the live comeback. The multi-instrumentalist was a co-founding member of Oasis – appearing in the initial line-up alongside Liam, Noel, bassist Paul ‘Guigsy’ McGuigan and drummer Tony McCarroll.

A source told the newspaper: “Bonehead is confirmed. They both wanted him in the fold and he was one of the drivers of the reunion. Noel has brought in some of his band too.

“The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.”

Arthurs left the group in 1999 to spend more time with his family, and he was replaced by Gem Archer.

A brief archive clip of Bonehead appears in the announcement video for Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour. He also left a comment on one of the band’s posts about the gigs on Instagram yesterday, sharing two love heart emojis (see above).

Arthurs, who is a regular fixture in Liam’s solo backing band, was asked last year whether he would be up for taking part in an Oasis reunion. “I’m ready, got me dancing shoes,” he responded.

He explained at the time that a comeback for the Britpop giants would be “worth it” for the younger fans who never got to see them live in the ’90s and ’00s.

“I look at that first 10 rows when I’m playing an arena with Liam, and they’re like 16 or 17 years of age,” Arthurs said. “These people weren’t even born until well into Oasis’ career. So if there was a reunion, wouldn’t it be worth it for them?… You hear that Liam? You hear that Noel?”

Bonehead temporarily stepped back from touring with Liam in 2022 after being diagnosed with tonsil cancer. He completed his treatment for the condition that year, and later confirmed that he was cancer-free.

The guitarist has since joined Liam on his recent ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary solo tour, and at his Reading & Leeds 2024 headline shows last weekend.

Meanwhile, fans have been speculating over a potential Oasis headline set at Glastonbury – where the Gallaghers last topped the bill in 2004. Plans are also currently “underway” for further reunion dates outside of Europe.

‘OASIS LIVE 25’ is reportedly set to make an eye-watering £400million, and will follow the release of the expanded ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary reissue this Friday (August 30).

Rumours are now circulating about who could support Oasis next summer – with the likes of Kasabian and Blossoms being among the acts mentioned. Additionally, fans have been revisiting the band’s final 2009 setlist to get an idea of what they might play in 2025.

In other news, details have emerged about Liam and Noel’s reunion photoshoot – where a new press shot of the formerly estranged brothers was captured.

“For their fans to see them together again will be an amazing sight,” a source said. “The atmosphere in the room was fizzing, it was electric.”

Recently, there was a surge in streams of Oasis’ music on Spotify as speculation heightened over the 2025 reunion announcement.
