'Star Wars Outlaws'.

Star Wars Outlaws only jsut came out, but it’s already gotten a new patch. Here’s everything it changes.

Star Wars Outlaws launched with some technicaly difficulties, as reported in many of the game’s mixed reviews. This new patch should address some of the common issues players and critics have been facing.

The most important aspect of the new patch is a fix for the game’s inconsistent performance issues. Stuttering can appear after changing locations, and the frame rate can drop a lot, according to Game Pressure. With the new update, these issues should be a thing of the past, or at least less persistent than they have been before.

Helping the frame rate along is a new 40fps mode that should maintain a consistent frame rate as you play. This only works with compatible displays, so you’ll have to check for yourself if the option is available to you.

As well as the performance and fps fixes, there are also numerous bug and glitch fixes across the entire game. These should fix any issues players are having with missions or gameplay bugs.

The update is around 9GB, so it should be fairly quick for players to install, but some people with versions of the game that allowed them to play before the official launch date have been asked to restart their saves to get this update to work properly.

“To best experience the Outer Rim, we rolled out a maintenance [update] to make sure everyone is playing the latest version of the game,” an email from Ubisoft reads. “As one of the players affected who had access to an older version of the game, we are aware you might be encountering some issues after this recent patch […] Once you’ve confirmed you have the latest version, please start a new save to fully enjoy Star Wars Outlaws as our team intended. If you continue on a prior save, you will unfortunately face issues and progression blockers.”

In other news, you can now play as Shrek in PowerWash Simulator.
