Tickets for Oasis’ 2025 reunion shows in Dublin have sold out after fans reported that the Ticketmaster website “crashed” due to huge demand and hundreds of thousands more were stuck in online queues for hours.
The Britpop band announced a huge run of comeback gigs on Tuesday (August 27), dubbed Oasis Live ’25. Set to take place next summer, the trek will see Liam and Noel Gallagher perform on stage together for the first time in 16 years.
Concerts were scheduled for Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. Mid-week, extra gigs were confirmed for Manchester, London and Edinburgh in response to “unprecedented demand”.
Tickets for the gigs in Dublin were due to go on sale this morning at 8am, but fans online were reporting issues with both Ticketmaster’s main website and app ahead of the sale, including receiving “503” errors as they tried to log in to buy tickets.
Fans also reported being in huge queues and unable to even get onto the site. There was also a queue just to get into the main ticket queue, such was the huge demand. Many fans found themselves still in the queues in Dublin up until the event selling out, having been on there since 7am this morning in anticipation of the demand.
At 1:23PM, the Ticketmaster Ireland website posted a message saying: “UPDATE: There are currently no tickets available. Please check back later as more may be released.”

Tickets for Oasis’ 2025 UK and Ireland tour went on general sale at 9am BST/8am IST this morning – here in the UK, and here for Ireland.
Ticketmaster has outlined its strict rules for purchasing tickets – confirming that customers will only be able to order four tickets per date, per household and card. Additionally, Oasis have partnered with resale platform Twickets where fans can buy unwanted tickets for no more than face value (plus booking fees).

However, many fans were also left frustrated today following Ticketmaster’s controversial dynamic pricing system whilst attempting to buy tickets.
One fan shared their attempt to get tickets to Dublin’s Croke Park show, writing: “In demand standing ticket” is just a standard standing ticket except double the price. No difference between Ticketmaster and touts.” When ticket prices were revealed by pre-sale for Ireland, tickets started at €86.50. However, this fan shared a screenshot showing the tickets were going for €415.50 each.
Ticketmaster have clarified on their website previously that tickets that are “market-priced” “may increase or decrease at any time, based on demand. This is similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold.”
NME has reached out to Ticketmaster for comment.
In other news, there are whispers of a potential new Oasis album, and plans are now “underway” for further concerts outside of Europe, although no details about these have emerged at the time of writing.
There is currently talk about which previous Oasis members could be joining Liam and Noel on the road in 2025, with co-founder Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs reportedly on board.

Oasis Live ’25 is reportedly set to make an eye-watering £400million, and will follow the extended ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary reissue, which was released yesterday (Friday August 30).
In a brief joint statement to announce their long-awaited return, Oasis said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Meanwhile, details have emerged about Liam and Noel’s top secret reunion photoshoot– where a new press shot of the formerly estranged brothers was captured. “For their fans to see them together again will be an amazing sight,” a source explained. “The atmosphere in the room was fizzing, it was electric.”
