bibi dean burn it dere singles november 2024

South Korean singer BIBI has announced two new singles, ‘Derre’ and ‘Burn It’, the latter being a collaboration with DEAN.

BIBI announced ‘Derre’ and ‘Burn It’ featuring DEAN yesterday (November 5) with the release of a teaser image on social media. The picture shows hand-drawn art of both titles against an orange-tinted photo. Both songs will be released on November 14 at 6pm KST, with ‘Derre’ set to receive a music video treatment.

‘Burn It’ will notably be DEAN’s first music release of 2024. His last solo release was the 2023 song ‘Die 4 You’, which came four years after his 2019 single ‘Howlin’ 404′. Between both releases, the singer was featured on songs by IU, nafla, Crush and more.

Meanwhile, BIBI’s last release was the ‘Bam Yang Gang’ single album in February. It also included B-side track ‘Sugar Rush’, which received a campy music video featuring cameos from (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon and Choi Yena.

‘Bam Yang Gang’ was later named by NME as one of the best K-pop songs of 2024 so far“Laced with an acute poignance, her saccharine vocals meander airly along the track as she laments a past lover’s unwillingness to meet her needs,” wrote NME‘s Gladys Yeo wrote.

In April, BIBI also teamed up with Jackson Wang of GOT7 to release ‘Feeling Lucky’, which they first debuted during 88rising’s ‘Futures’ set at Coachella. She also dropped ‘Eve’, a tie-in song for a new PlayStation 5 title Stellar Blade that same month.

In the time since, the multihyphenate was involved as a lead star in the new Disney+ K-drama Gangnam B-Sidestarring alongside Ji Chang-wook, Jo Woo-jin and more. The crime-thriller series stars BIBI as a runaway escort who goes missing as part of a bigger scheme involving crime bosses, political corruption and more
