Bruce Springsteen has stopped by the set of the upcoming biopic about him, Deliver Me From Nowhere, to visit star Jeremy Allen White during filming.
The legendary musician and The Bear actor were photographed together alongside director Scott Cooper while shooting a scene in a car dealership in Bayonne, New Jersey.
White and Springsteen were seen hugging and sharing a smile, as well as taking a look at some classic cars. The cars included a Chevrolet Z28 Camaro, which the singer has said was the first car he ever bought, and could indicate the content of the scene being filmed.
In Deliver Me From Nowhere, White will play ā80s-era Springsteen, with the film chronicling the recording of his 1982 album āNebraskaā. The biopic is being produced by Disneyās 20th Century Studios, and the shoot is happening mostly on location in Springsteenās native New Jersey and New York.
The biopic was first announced in April this year. Springsteen recently shared his thoughts on Whiteās casting, saying: āI only had to see him on The Bear, and I knew he was the right guy, because he had that interior life, but he also had a little swagger.ā
The musicianās manager, Jon Landau, has also praised White coming on board, saying: āOh my god, heās just perfect. The casting is great.ā
In August, White opened up about his preparation for the role, saying: āItās really great to go down a YouTube rabbit hole and find him at all these different periods in his life and be able to listen to his speaking voice as well as his singing voice. Thatās kind of been the deal, just listening to him a lot and watching him a lot. Itās been really fun preparing.ā
Elsewhere in the cast, Stephen Graham has been confirmed as playing Springsteenās father, and Succession star Jeremy Strong will portray Landau.
Deliver Me From Nowhere does not yet have a confirmed release date, but should arrive on screen sometime in 2025.
