Min Hee-jin, the CEO of K-pop agency ADOR, which is home to girl group NewJeans, was recently questioned by South Korean police for eight hours amid her feud with HYBE.

ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin was seen leaving Yongsan Police Station in Seoul, South Korean at 10pm on Tuesday (July 9), eight hours after questioning begin at 2pm the same day, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.

While leaving the police station, Min told reporters that her questioning “wasn’t supposed to take place today” but that she had “requested that I be questioned today because I wanted to”.

“I told the truth. […] I’m glad to tell the truth and let it all out,” she said of the session, while also confirming that she had denied breach of trust allegations levied against her by HYBE. “There was a lot that I wanted to say,” she added. “HYBE reported me and it took me time [to explain].”

“It couldn’t have been breach of trust. It just seems like comedy to me. So I told them everything truthfully,” the ADOR CEO said. She had also declined to comment on whether she would report HYBE for defamation or other charges.

Back in May, Min Hee-jin managed to retain her role as the CEO of ADOR, following a shareholders meeting, although two of her “close aides” were dismissed from the board of the company. It came a day after a Seoul court ruled in favour of an injunction filed by Min that prevented HYBE from exercising its voting rights.

Following that decision, the ADOR CEO addressed her ongoing feud with HYBE in a press conference, where she touched on the future of K-pop girl group NewJeans, her alleged “betrayal” of HYBE and more.

More recently, Min was spotted taking photos with fans in Tokyo, ahead of NewJeans’ first-ever headlining concerts in Japan
