Soloist and former iKON member B.I has released ‘Keep Me Up’, the title track of his latest mini-album ‘Love Or Loved Part.1’.
The release of the single is accompanied by an enthralling visual showcasing the choreography for ‘Keep Me Up’. “Cause girl you keep me up, / A blessing and a curse to each other / At the end of a perilous wander / I need you, my Aphrodite,” B.I croons in the chorus.
‘Love Or Loved Part.1’ marks B.I’s first solo release for 2022. Apart from ‘Keep Me Up’, the idol’s new record also includes pre-release single ‘BTBT’, which features Soulja Boy and DeVita, as well as B-sides ‘Middle With You’, ‘Tangerine’ and ‘Endless Summer’.
The mini-album is also one of two EPs to be released as part of his “global album project” for the year. Other releases under the project, which was first announced in April, including the previously released single ‘BTBT’.
Prior to ‘Love Or Loved Part.1’, B.I had teamed up with LOONA vocalist Chuu to release collaborative track ‘Lullaby’, as part of a project for Dingo Music. The demo version of the track had previously been uploaded by B.I to his SoundCloud account.
B.I’s last solo record was “half album” ‘Cosmos’, which dropped on November 2021. That record, led by a title track of the same name, was said to explore “the love that makes me dream about eternity and to give everything without anything in return”.
