Last year, Bae Suzy starred in the Netflix K-drama, Doona!. In a glowing four-star review of the series, NME called it “an emotionally visceral, refreshingly grounded story of two young, naïve, troubled people who fall in love at the wrong place and the wrong time”.
Meanwhile, Kim Woo-bin’s previous TV role was as the lead of the sci-fi Netflix K-drama Black Knight. The series received a mixed review, with NME‘s Carmen Chin saying that there is “no novelty to the circumstances and stakes presented in the show, nor does it present anything notable for it to hold its own against others in the genre”.
