Ben Howard, 2024.

Ben Howard has shared details of an ‘I Forget Where We Were’ 10th anniversary UK tour – set to kick off later this year. Find tour dates and ticket details below.

The news of the tour comes as his chart-topping sophomore turns 10 this year, and will see the singer-songwriter revisit the LP and perform the tracklist in full for fans.

Arriving back in 2014, ‘I Forget Where We Were’ arrived on the heels of his breakthrough debut album ‘Every Kingdom’, and saw him take a more atmospheric and edgy approach to his sound. While the former had a sense of purity and centred around acoustic instrumentals, its follow-up marked a new era for the songwriter, and a transition to more stormy territory.

“As an artist who rarely gives much time to looking back, ‘I Forget Where We Were’ was a landmark moment in Ben’s career that first opened the door to an uncompromising spirit that has since stood him so well,” read a press release for the album, ahead of its 10th anniversary.

The upcoming dates kick off on October 13, with an opening night lined up at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. From there, 12 more shows are lined up across the UK and Ireland, including gigs in Leeds, Bristol, Newcastle, and two slots at the Eventim Apollo in London.

The dates wrap up with a penultimate show at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton on October 31, followed by a final date at the Pavilions in Plymouth the following night (November 1).

Tickets go on sale at 10am BST next Friday (May 31). Visit here to buy tickets and find a full list of tour dates below.

In other Ben Howard news, at the start of the year the singer shared his ethereal collaborative track with The National‘s Aaron Dessner titled ‘Rumble Strip’.

The track was originally an outtake from his 2021 LP ‘Collections From The Whiteout‘, and was taken from his recording sessions with Dessner – who produced the song– at his Long Pond Studios in Upstate, New York.

It was recorded during Howard’s last trip to the United States. Prior to its recent release, ‘Rumble Strip’ was only available on the deluxe vinyl pressing of the 2021 album.
