Black Country, New Road have announced a London benefit concert in support of Palestine – you can find all the details below.
The band are due to play a headline show at the EartH Theatre in Hackney on Thursday June 13. They’ll be joined by the special guest support acts Camera Picture, Aga Ujma and Skydaddy.
All proceeds will go to Medical Aid For Palestinians and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Tickets are available now in return for a minimum £15 donation (per ticket). However, fans have the option to donate up to £50. Visit here for more information.

Black Country, New Road will open for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on their 2024 UK and Ireland headline tour later this year. They’re also set to appear at this year’s Green Man Festival in August.
News of the group’s benefit show comes after Israel intensified its military operations in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip – an area where the vast majority of displaced Palestinians had been told to seek refuge.
A report by The Associated Press highlighted that Israel’s recent shelling and airstrike attacks had killed at least 37 people between Monday and Tuesday (May 27-28). The outlet also said that more than 36,000 Palestinians had been killed since October.
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa is among those to have expressed their support for #AllEyesOnRafah – advocating for an end to Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinian people.
“Burning children alive can never be justified,” the singer wrote on her Instagram Stories. “The whole world is mobilising to stop the Israeli genocide. Please show your solidarity with Gaza. #AllEyesOnRafah.”
Elsewhere, Paul Weller spoke out after being asked about the Palestinian flag he had draped over his guitar amp at recent shows. “Am I against genocides and ethnic cleansing?” he said. “Yes I am, funnily enough.”
Earlier this month, many acts pulled out of this year’s Great Escape Festival in solidarity with Palestine – including Soft Play, Picture Parlour and Alfie Templeman. The likes of Massive Attack and Brian Eno also expressed their support for the boycott.
The event was sponsored by Barclays, which has been a source of controversy amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza because of the bank’s financial investment in companies that supply arms to Israel.
Last week saw Pillow Queens become the first act to cancel their appearance at Latitude Festival 2024 because of its Barclays sponsorship.
Elsewhere, the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest was plagued with controversy and protests over Israel’s inclusion.
