Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans have been getting a lot of information about the Zombies mode recently, but their first look at a main story campaign play through will be during Gamescom Opening Night Live, next week.

Geoff Keighley, host of The Game Awards, Summer Game Fest, and Opening Night Live, tweeted out that the Black Ops 6 campaign play through would happen Tuesday August 20 during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live ceremony.

So far, we’ve already seen one hectic but cryptic campaign trailer, set to The Prodigy‘s ‘Firestarter’, so this should be an actual segment of uncut gameplay. Call Of Duty and plenty of other games have done this in the past, and it should reveal what the game actually feels like when you get it into your own hands later this year.

NME did a hands-off preview of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 in June and called it “a scrappy Gulf War shooter.” Set in the ’90s, the first-person game’s story revolves around returning character Frank Woods and he and his “band of war criminals” attempt to stop a shadowy group known as The Pantheon.

Developer Treyarch suggested that the game would have more stealh-focused moments, although the trailer we saw before looked anything but covert.

Treyarch has also called the upcoming Zombies mode the “most-rewarding ever”, and the story for that follows Cold War‘s Requiem as they’re broken out of a prison in the Philippine Sea. The group is after Edward Richtofen, a recurring character within the Zombies storylines.

In other news, The Crow is doing a crossover event with Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 next week, so you will be able to play as the gothic film character in the new season of the games.
