Call of Duty Coming To Game Pass: Price can be seen

According to a new report, 2023’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 could be coming to Xbox Game Pass sometime this month.

As Insider Gaming reports, “several sources have suggested it will [come to Game Pass] in the latter half of this month”.

This would mark the first older Call Of Duty to make it onto Xbox’s subscription service. However, it doesn’t know exactly when an announcement will be made or what date the game will be available.

It was also recently reported that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy could be coming to the service, along with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk 1 and 2.

So many old Activision games are due to arrive Xbox’s Game Pass because of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard King. One of the key selling points to consumers was that the company’s games would be available on the service for no extra cost.

Unfortunately, the price of Game Pass is going up in many regions, and a new tier is being introduced that won’t include cloud gaming or day one Game Pass launches. This follows Microsoft previously stating that the service wouldn’t see a price increase caused by the acquisition. This is bad news for people hoping to pick up Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 when it launches on Game Pass later this year.

Call Of Duty is a massive series and was a major sticking point during the Microsoft ABK acquisition. Competitive authority bodies were concerned that Microsoft may remove the games from other platforms, but the company’s counterarguments included the point that more gamers would be able to play it thanks to Game Pass.

In other news, Deep Rock Galactic has unveiled a new metal music collaboration with Dwarven metal band Wild Rose.
