Calvin Harris has teased a brand new song on TikTok with a mystery guest vocalist.

The Scottish DJ took to the social media platform to share a video of a tranquil beach with the words ‘summer soon’. Harris further captioned the video: ‘not long now’.

In the snippet, a female vocalist can be heard singing over a fingerpicked guitar and pounding techno beat: “We were dancing, we were wild up in the ocean / Ocean, ocean / Love the way you lie me down and break me open / Open, open”.

He further revealed in the comments that he was “trying” to release the collaboration, saying he was “not sure” when the song would be released.

The deep, raspy vocals have fans convinced the DJ has teamed up with Miley Cyrus for his next summer anthem – take a listen below:

The song might hopefully appear in time for Harris’ slate of summer appearances, where he is due to play a headline DJ set at TRMSMT Festival 2024Ā in Glasgow, joiningĀ Liam GallagherĀ andĀ Gerry Cinnamon. He will also continue his residencies in Las Vegas and Ibiza.

It follows after his recentĀ Best Dance Act win at the BRITs 2024, beating out fellow contendersĀ Fred Again..,Ā Romy,Ā Becky HillĀ and Barry Can’t Swim. Harris was also nominated in the Pop Act category, but lost toĀ Dua Lipa.

Recently HarrisĀ spoke about his plans to quit DJing soon.Ā ā€œI always said that once I get past 50, I can’t see me DJing,ā€ said Harris (viaĀ DJ Mag). ā€œThe more commercial end [of DJing], it gets a wee bit… a little bit suspect. I think I’d prefer to be in the studio making tunes.ā€

ā€œI think that’s where the majority of my talent lies, making something sound good,ā€ he further explained. ā€œSo I would like to make other people’s records sound good.ā€

In other news, Harris has hit back at critics who said his Ultra Music set was ā€œunderwhelmingā€
