Cardi B has hit back at a fan online who suggested she was bleaching her skin while pregnant, saying, “Why must y’all be so dumb?”

The comment came in reply to an X (formerly Twitter) post from Cardi that showed the rapper JT cradling Cardi’s baby bump, with someone asking the question, “Has Cardi been bleaching her skin?”
Cardi wasted no time in lashing back at the commenter, writing: “Bleaching while pregnant? Why must yall be so dumb? Actually NO! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic, this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy…PLEASE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR ASSHOLE!”

At the start of the month, Cardi revealed that she was expecting her third child, amid reports of her filing for a divorce from Migos rapper Offset and seeking custody of their two previous children.
“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she wrote. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
Despite their reported impending divorce, Cardi has denied claims that Offset has been an “unsupportive” partner. “OK this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids,” she wrote in response to magazine rumours to the contrary. “Even wit my filing, I’m not asking for child support. My claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”
The couple previously separated in December 2018. Cardi then filed for divorce in 2020, claiming that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” However, a month later, the ‘WAP’ rapper decided not to go through with it.
Elsewhere, Cardi recently opened up about a “freak accident” which left her temporarily paralysed and almost caused a miscarriage.
