Concert goers at an ODESZA gig this weekend were evacuated after pyrotechnics from the show caused a brush fire.
The band were playing at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington on Saturday (July 6) when the incident happened.
As per Fox 13 Seattle, the small fire broke out during the bandâs final song of the main set.
Firefighters were deployed and they managed to contain the flames and extinguish the fire quickly, according to the outlet.
However, the show ended without an encore and the audience was asked to leave out of an âabundance of cautionâ, according to a statement issued by the venue later. No injuries were reported following the incident.
A full statement from The Gorge Amphitheatre read: “During the last song of ODESZA’s set at the Gorge, a brush fire broke out not far from the stage. The fire was contained and fortunately was quickly extinguished.
“Out of an abundance of caution and safety, the show ended without an encore. We truly appreciate everyone coming tonight and celebrating the end of the tour. Thank you.”
The Gorge show was the final scheduled date of ODESZAâs âThe Last Goodbye Tour.â

Back in May, ODESZA headlined Hangout Festival alongside Zach Bryan and Lana Del Rey.Â
The festival returned to the beach at Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 17 and 19. In addition to its headliners, the festival featured acts including The Chainsmokers, Cage The Elephant, Dominic Fike, Mean Girls alumni Reneé Rapp, Chappell Roan, Australian trap-pop DJ Alison Wonderland, Dom Dolla, Chromeo, Subtronics, rappers Doechii, Sexyy Red, Nelly and more.
ODESZA also played last year’s Governor’s Ball in New York. In a four star review from NME, we said: “as the sun sets, Odesza take the stage drawing the audience in with laser beams, pyro and bass-heavy EDM tracks. Itâs the perfect way to wrap up night two.”
