Foo Fighters have kicked off their UK tour, and surprised fans by breaking out a number of songs for the first time this tour and bringing out Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet. Find footage of the gig and the full setlist below.
The dates across the country come as part of the band’s extensive ‘Everything Or Nothing At All’ tour, which has so far seen them play numerous shows at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, and continued this week with a gig at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
During the set at the Scottish national football stadium, the band broke out a huge 26-song set, which included an array of fan favourites as well as plenty of tracks from their latest album ‘But Here We Are’.
It also saw frontman Dave Grohl sipping from a bottle of Buckfast, while the unofficial national anthem ‘Flower of Scotland’ was sung by the crowd. Check out the moment below, where Grohl is seen watching the crowd while Rami Jaffee plays the accordion.
To kick off the mammoth setlist, the band opened with the fan favourite ‘All My Life’, followed by ‘No Son Of Mine’, ‘Rescued’ and one of their most famous hits, ‘The Pretender’.
Later in the set, the band reimagined their 1997 classic ‘My Hero’ by delivering it as an acoustic track, and also broke out the 2006 song ‘Skin And Bones’ for the first time this tour.
Grohl also played an acoustic solo performance of ‘Under You’ shortly after, before going on to break out ‘Show Me How’ for the first time during the tour – also bringing out his daughter Violet to the stage for the rendition.
Check out more footage of the show below, as well as the full setlist.

The show in Glasgow comes after the band kicked off the tour in Manchester last week, and used the opening show to perform a previously unheard song, titled ‘Unconditional’. A representative of the band said to Consequence that the song was “partially written and demo’d during home studio sessions years ago — but ultimately left unfinished.”
The show was given a glistening four-star review by NME too, with Rishi Shah praising the band for their powerful dynamic when on stage.
“Approaching thirty years as a band, Foo Fighters have adapted in the face of any adversity, ensuring their stadium show remains cohesive, exemplary and simply untouchable,” it read.
“While others from their time might begin to creep towards legacy act territory, Foo Fighters remain as relevant and imperious as ever – they’re only going to need even more stadiums to fill.”
The band will continue their UK ‘All Or Nothing At All’ tour this week with two shows at London Stadium (June 20 and June 22). From there, they head to Cardiff for a penultimate slot in Cardiff on June 25, and wrap up the dates with a final stop in Birmingham on June 27. Visit here for any remaining tickets.
