Jerry Abbott, the father of PANTERA’s founding members, drummer Vincent “Vinnie Paul” Abbott and guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, died last night in a Denton, Texas caregiving facility. He was reportedly only five days away from celebrating his 81st birthday.
