What is the plot of the K-drama Red Swan?
The upcoming series follows Wan-soo, a top golf player who dreamt of a perfect life of luxury as part of the upper class. After marrying the successor of the wealthy Hwain Group, she becomes CEO of her own foundation and gains worldwide fame for her charity work.
In her new position, she hires a bodyguard, Seo Do-yoon, who excels at martial arts and graduated from a police university. With her new bodyguard, Wan-soo learns and faces a dark secret of the Hwain family.
Who is in the cast of Red Swan?
Leading the cast of Red Swan is Kim Ha-neul, who stars as Oh Wan-soo. Kim previously starred in K-dramas like Kill Heel and 18 Again. Starring opposite her is singer-actor Rain, who will play the role of her bodyguard Seo Do-yoon, in his first lead role in a K-drama since 2022’s Ghost Doctor.
Hotel Del Luna’s Seo Yi-sook will appear as Park Mi-ran, the matriarch of the Hwain Family. Also starring in Red Swan are actors Jung Gyu-woon and Yoon Je-moon, along with Ki Eun-se and more.
Has Disney+ released a trailer for the K-drama?
Disney+ released the trailer for Red Swan on June 11. The clip opens with scenes filled with murder and intrigue, as highly choreographed scenes of opulent dinners and banquets are soon interrupted by gunfire and assassins.
Later, the trailer introduces viewers to the main players in this game of corporate intrigue, as Wan-soo and Do-yoon go up against forces that are actively working against them.
Where to watch Red Swan?
Red Swan, which will feature 10 episodes, will premiere July 3 on Disney+/Hulu.
