Drake has seemingly deleted all his Kendrick Lamar diss tracks from his Instagram profile.
The feud between the two rappers reignited in March with Lamar’s memorable ‘Like That‘ verse, which saw him proclaim: “fuck sneak dissin'”. It also saw Lamar respond to a previous claim made by J. Cole in his feature on Drake’s ‘First Person Shooter’, which saw Cole boast: “Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? / We the big three like we started a league.”
In response, Lamar rapped on ‘Like That: “Motherfuck the big three, n****, it’s just big me”.
At the time, Drake responded to Lamar by posting some of his own responses on his Instagram profile, including the ‘Taylor Made Freestyle‘, which was eventually taken down due to its use of AI vocals.
Now, it appears Drake has taken down all posts referencing the beef, including his post about his latest diss ‘The Heart Part 6’. Since then, he has uploaded a picture of himself with a mysterious caption that reads: “The only yes man around me is my Rolex dealer.”
Recently, TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith announced the beef between his signee Lamar and Drake was over in a post on X/Twitter. “This battle is over,” he wrote. “A win for the culture, while keeping it all on wax. Especially when these publications try to make it something else. We proved them wrong. That’s a victory within itself. On another note, it’s time to wrap up this TDE [20-year] anniversary compilation.”
The announcement followed a number of incidents after Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us‘ was released, which saw the rapper claim Drake was a “certified paedophile”.
After ‘Not Like Us’ was released, a bodyguard was hospitalised after being shot outside of Drake’s Toronto mansion (dubbed The Embassy). In the days following, numerous people were arrested for trespassing on the property. It is unclear if the incidents occurred due to Drake’s feud with Lamar.
Drake asked a Toronto local news helicopter to stop flying over The Embassy overnight. The heightened media presence happened after a third intruder was arrested for attempting to break into his residence.
Since the feud ended, Drake has featured on Sexyy Red’s highly-anticipated mixtape rapping over Metro Boomin’s diss beat ‘BBL Drizzy’ and covered Plain White T’s ‘Hey There Delilah’ with Snowd4y.
