Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters performs onstage

Drummer Greg Barton has played every Foo Fighters song ever made in one sitting for charity – watch the stream below.

This past Friday (June 7), Barton kept true to his promise of wanting to play along with every Foo Fighters song ever released in a single sitting to raise funds for cancer research. The feat – which he accomplished – took place across over nine hours, and saw Barton play ever album according to its order of release, and followed the album’s tracklisting as they were written.

So far, Barton has raised US$7,700 and counting. You can donate to the cause here. He dedicated the feat to his grandmother, who is currently battling cancer, and late Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Barton wrote of his feat on social media: “Not only did we smash our fundraising gal, but I made it the distance and had an absolute blast along the way… This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. You can see my left hand completely cramp up at song 57 and I truly thought I might DNF (did not finish)… I think pure adrenaline carried me through the last three albums.”

You can watch the entire nine-hour livestream below.

Foo Fighters are due to tour in the UK this summer, with the run of dates including two shows at the London Stadium. Find any remaining tickets here.

They’ll head out on the road in North America next month, with tickets for those concerts available here.
