Dua Lipa may be about to unveil details of a huge show at Londonâs Wembley Stadium, according to reports.
Lipa was the first artist to headline Glastonbury this year, ahead of Saturday headliner Coldplay and Sundayâs SZA. During her set, she brought out Kevin Parker as a surprise guest to sing Tame Impalaâs âThe Less I Know The Betterâ.
Now, as per The Sun, there are reports that Lipa may be set to headline Wembleyâs 90,000 capacity venue next year.
A source told the newspaper that Lipa would play one date at Wembley next summer before a tour across America. News of the date, according to the source, would be revealed later this week.
NME has reached out to representatives of Lipa for comment.
Meanwhile, Lipa has responded after being wrongly accused of miming when she headlined The Pyramid Stage on Friday (June 28).
The pop star later became the subject of claims online that her performance on the Pyramid Stage had been âtoo polished to be liveâ. Others noted that her voice was out of sync with the image on their TV as they watched the performance live, which gave the impression she was lip-syncing â however, it was an issue that went away once technical difficulties were solved by switching to FreeView.
The pop star stayed on at Glasto after her set, and simply responded to the claims when they were put to her by a MailOnline reporter on Saturday: âI donât mime.â
NME rated Lipaâs Glastonbury set four stars, with reviewer Liberty Dunworth calling it a âvisual spectacleâ that ânot only becomes a glittering celebration of pop in its highest form but also serves as a reminder that even the most outlandish aspirations can become a realityâ.
