Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is right around the corner, and a new trailer has shown off the upcoming slate of Marvel characters, from Dr Doom, to the Avengers, and the X-Men.

The latest Season in the live-service battle-royale game is titled Absolute Doom and will feature the villainous Doom himself as well as many other Marvel characters. The Season comes with a new Absolute Doom battle pass that contains outfits for Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jonesy, Mysterio and Shuri.
There are also new items to take on Dr Doom with. You can get Dual Micro SMGs, Captain America’s Shield, or War Machine’s Arsenal. Doom’s outfit will be available via battle pass quests in September, so you’ll have to wait a little bit before you can unlock his look.
The battle pass will cost 950 V-Bucks, and you can get 1,000 for £6.99. You can earn up to 1,500 V-bucks by leveling up your battle pass in the Battle Royale, LEGO, Rocket Racing, and Festival game modes.
A recent Fortnite update brought Tesla’s Cybertruck to the game, and players almost immediately decided to team up to take them down. “I propose a new Fortnite rule,” stated one tweet. “If you see someone in a Cybertruck, you are now in a truce with everyone else in the lobby until they’re taken out. This repeats as many times as necessary until everyone that bought this stupid thing is gone. Normal gameplay proceeds.”
A Fortnite developer even got in on the action, writing: “Reminder that opinions are mine and mine alone. Destroy on sight”.
In other news, nine-time Olympic gold medalist Caeleb Dressel was seen chilling out in an ice bath while watching videos of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to cool off during the games.
