Paul Heaton and Norman Cook have reunited to perform a Housemanrtins classic at Glastonbury 2024.
It’s relatively early into day one of Glastonbury 2024, but Paul Heaton might have already set up one of the biggest moments of the weekend. During his set at the Pyramid Stage today (June 28), Heaton surprised punters in attendance by bringing out his former Housemartins bandmate Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) to perform their 1986 hit ‘Happy Hour’.

Is it too early to say that Norman Cook joining Paul Heaton for "Happy Hour" is the moment of the weekend?
I'm calling it anyway.

Just watching The Paul Heaton set on the Glastonbury main stage. An amazing set in the sunshine, lots of the big hits played, and it even featured ex Housemartins bassist, now famous dance king Norman Cook. Crowd weāre going mental throughout and joining in the singing !!

The Housemartins were formed in late 1983 by Heaton and guitarist Stan Cullimore (guitar), initially as a busking duo. They then expanded by recruiting bassist Ted Key, who was replaced by Norman Cook in 1985.
After releasing two albums, the Housemartins split at the height of their fame in 1988, with each member going on to start solo projects. Since then, Norman Cook has rebranding himself as electronic maestro Fatboy Slim.
