Venom

Venom: The Last Dance is in cinemas now, but what songs are included on the film’s soundtrack? Check out the full list below.

Kelly Marcel, who also wrote on Saving Mr. Banks and Fifty Shades of Grey, has helmed the third film in the Venom trilogy, which sees Tom Hardy return as Eddie Brock, and is out in cinemas on Friday (October 25).

It has been hailed as “the best of the trilogy”, which started with 2018’s Venom and also included 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The film co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as Rex Strickland, a solider who is tracking Brock and trying to capture Venom, Juno Temple as Agony, as well as Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Stephen Graham and Andy Serkis.

Sony’s official synopsis for the The Last Dance reads: “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”

The films exist within Sony’s Spider-Man Universe alongside the likes of Morbius (2022) and Madame Web (2024), and Hardy also showed up as Venom in a post-credits scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where it was suggested that the character had returned to his original universe.

The film boasts an original score from the alternative experimental musician Dan Deacon, who has made a string of critically acclaimed studio albums of his own, including 2009’s ‘Bromst’ and 2015’s ‘Gliss Riffer’. He has worked on a string of independent films in recent years, and also contributed a score for the 2022 Adam Sandler sports film Hustle.

Beyond that, the film also includes a couple of high-profile tracks by classic rock artists. As heard in the film’s trailer, Cat Stevens’ 1970 song ‘Wild World’, from his album ‘Tea For The Tillerman’ is part of the film. The trailer also included a slightly remixed version of David Bowie’s 1969 single ‘Space Oddity’.
