The show’s first season will consist of 12 episodes in total, with the finale set to be released on Saturday June 30.

How many volumes of the manga are there?
As of April 2024, 12 volumes of Kaiju No. 8 have been released in Japan. The 13th volume, which consists of chapters 90-97, is set to be released on July 4.
A spin-off manga titled Kaiji No. 8: B-Side was also released in Japan earlier this year, which follows side stories of other Defense Force members. The first volume is set to be released in English in 2025.
