Concord is finally about to set off with a hands-on beta, allowing players too check out Sony’s latest live-service shooter after the immense success of Helldivers 2. But, with two beta weekends, you may be wondering how to get into Concord‘s beta this weekend and get hands-on with all 16 Freegunners in the game at launch.
The game sees rival crews of Freegunners complete high-stakes jobs across the Concord galaxy in various PvP modes against one another. Between those matches, there are moments to get to know the characters, story vignettes, and ways to customise each of them.
To access Concord’s beta on PS5 and PC from July 12 – July 14, you can pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store or at retail to receive a beta code. Alternatively, if you are on PS5, you can also subscribe to any PS Plus tier to get access to the Early Access beta weekend. The beta option will appear on the PlayStation Store’s menu once it goes live at 6pm BST, 7pm CEST, 1pm ET, 10pm PT.
The beta, which will run from July 18 – July 21, will be available to everyone, no matter whether you pre-order or are subscribed to PS Plus. So, if you don’t want to put any money down, you will still get a chance to check out the game.
Additionally, the beta will give you access to three modes: Cargo Rush, Clash Point, and Trophy Hunt. These modes can be played across four maps: Freewater, Shock Risk, Star Chamber, and Water Hazard. Week 2 will introduce an additional mode and map: Zone Control and the Bone Mines map.
If you do play the beta, you will be able to grab yourself the Lil’ Frog weapon charm and the Star Flare Business Card customization items when the game fully releases on August 23, 2024.
