This year’s Oscars will air live on ITV and ITVX in the UK on Sunday, March 2. Coverage of the red carpet begins from 10.30pm, with the ceremony set to begin at 12am. The show is expected to span three-and-a-half-hours in total, ending at 3.35am.

Like last year, Jonathan Ross will host the coverage across ITV. He will be joined by film experts and celebrity guests, while Ross King will provide red carpet updates.

Who is performing at the ceremony?

Beyond toasting the nominees, this year’s ceremony will see performances from Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Lisa from BLACKPINK, Queen Latifah and RAYE. There will also be an appearance from the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

The biggest performance of the night will likely be Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who are set to perform tracks from Wicked. None of the songs from Wicked are nominated for Best Original Song, as they were pulled from the musical, but the film’s score by John Powell and Stephen Schwartz is up for Best Original Score.
