Fallout: London is an enourmous mod that turns Fallout 4 into an entirely new game. However, some bugs have caused it to have a bit of a rough launch, and the developers are already planning the road ahead.

Set in London in 2237 after a nuclear apocalypse, Fallout: London takes the series away from America for the first-time ever in a completely fan-made mod. It’s a huge undertaking, and while people have been impressed with the pre-release footage, the game launched in a rather buggy state.

This is a free mod created by a team of fans and players, so some grace shuld be given to them for the technical issues, but they’ve promised to address them. As reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, “We have some big plans for the future, starting with a hotfix,” the devs said in the game’s Discord channel.

“This hotfix will address some crashes and include essential systems like ‘Buffout 4,’ which will be merged into the mod itself. We’ve also identified several other fixes that will provide immediate help. Additionally, we’ll be explaining certain features we added that might not have been as useful as we thought, so stay tuned for those details.”

So, the priority appears to be fixing bugs and crashes, followed by expanding upon the mod to add new, interesting systems. “So, the plan is: hotfix first to stop and help with the crashes, then a big patch after,” reads a concise explanation of future plans.

British players have already been angered by a mod that changes the name of a football within Fallout: London to a soccer ball; a change made by American modders who may have been getting confused by the British naming convention.

In other news, Elden Ring received a patch that fixes several minor bugs.
