For Fat Dog, the festival joins a busy 2025 on the road for the band. At home, they will be playing the BBC Radio 6 Music festival next month, as well as Sheffieldâs Rock N Roll Circus in late August, headlined by Queens Of The Stone Age.
They have also been announced for Boomtown in Winchester, Truck in Oxfordshire, Dot To Dot in Bristol and Nottingham, All Together Now in Ireland and Bearded Theory in Derbyshire.
Those join the groupâs UK, Ireland and Europe tour this year in support of their debut album âWOOFâ, which was released in September. With the UK leg wrapping up in Manchester on Saturday (March 1), they head to Europe throughout April â see all dates here.
NME awarded âWOOFâ five stars, writing: âItâs clear from the get-go that this is not a band who take themselves seriously â you neednât look further than drummer Johnny âDogheadâ Hutchinsonâs ever-present latex dog mask. But crucially, theyâve committed to the bit, and it makes the intricate and occasionally miserable post-punk thatâs inundated the UK recently seem like a bore in comparison. Scream the words and dive head-first into the Fat Dog experience, because âWoof.â is pure, unbridled escapism â just what the world needs right now.â
Jasmine.4.t spoke to NME at the start of this year about being the ifrst signing to Phoebe Bridgersâ Saddest Factory label. âWhat more could you want as a queer musician?â she said. âTo be signed to Saddest Factory is a dream come true. Phoebe has fought my corner and has gotten me so many opportunities. It comes from a place of friendship but also a place of solidarity. I feel like those guys really get how shit is for trans women, especially in this country. I think they are kind of unsung heroes.â
