Jeremy Allen White has apparently been texting Bruce SpringsteenĀ in the hopes of meeting him in London to prepare for his upcoming role.

The Bear star was announced as part of the film in April after Deadline reportedĀ that White was the favourite to play a young SpringsteenĀ in the film which wasĀ announced this January.
The film is reportedly set to explore the making of Springsteen’s classic album ‘Nebraska’. Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Hostiles) will write and direct the film, which is based on Warren Zaneās 2023 book,Ā Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteenās Nebraska.Ā
Now, to prepare for his role, White has revealed toĀ VarietyĀ that he hasĀ ātexted and emailedā Springsteen in the run up to his Saturday (July 27) show at Wembley.
āIām really excited to see him perform,ā White said, cheekily adding that Springsteen texts “like a boss”.

Meanwhile, The Bear‘s highly-anticipated third season has just dropped, with mixed reviews flooding in.
