Veteran Australian rockers Jet have announced a special one-off concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) ā find out more and get tickets below.Ā
The quartet are performing a one-night-only concert at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia on November 8 with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and conductor Nicholas Buc.
Tickets are now on sale across several categories via Ticketek. General Admission passes are available for AUD$80 apiece, while remaining seated tickets are priced at $130, $140 and $150. Two VIP packages are also available.
During the concert, the band will play orchestral versions of their biggest hits, including āAre You Gonna Be My Girlā, āCold Hard Bitchā, āLook What Youāve Doneā, āRollover DJā and āGet Me Outta Hereā among many others.
Frontman Nic Cester said of the upcoming concert: āWe are all very excited to work with the MSO to add another musical dimension to our catalogue. The opportunity to elevate the live experience was one we just couldn’t pass up. Weāre going to rock the Bowl like never before!!ā
The band have been celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2003 debut album āGet Bornā. They have already wrapped up an extensive tour of Australia in support of the anniversary, and are next due to tour Europe, the UK and the United States in October.
Elsewhere, Jet recently released their new single āHurry Hurryā as a limited vinyl exclusive, and are working on their fourth album, which is set for release in 2025. The LP will mark their first new album since 2009ās āShaka Rockā. Taking to their official social media accounts, the Aussie rockers wrote: āWeāre so excited to tell you that after 15 years, weāve started work on a new album due for release in 2025!ā
In other news, Cester previously revealed that he had auditioned to be in AC/DC before they hired Guns Nā Rosesā Axl Rose.
