Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn

Doja Cat and Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn are reportedly now dating, two years after she publicly slid into his DMs.

The ‘Paint The Town Red’ singer has been pictured embracing the actor, who plays Eddie Munson in the Netflix show, walking together in London and catching a gig at Dingwalls in Camden.

Neither individual has confirmed the relationship at the time of writing.

It comes two years after Doja was revealed to have asked Quinn’s Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp to connect the two in DMs that were later shared publicly by Schnapp, much to Doja’s consternation.

Schnapp posted the messages on social media, showing Doja asking him to ask Quinn to “hmu”.

Doja criticised Schnapp after the exchange was made public, with the musician saying in an Instagram Live that she “didn’t feel comfortable” with Schnapp sharing the information in public – describing the move as “socially unaware and whack”.

“First, let’s try to be chill about it,” Doja said. “To be fair, this is like a kid. Noah, I don’t know how old he is, but he’s not even like over 21.

“When you’re that young, you make mistakes, you do dumb shit. I’m trying to be super fair. You do dumb shit, you say dumb shit. You fuck up relationships with people. You make mistakes. You’re supposed to do stuff like that so that you know not to do it in the future. I did my share of fuck-ups so that I don’t fuck up again.

“But the fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably like socially unaware and whack. That’s like borderline snake shit. That’s like weasel shit.”

She added: “I’m not saying that encapsulates his entire personality. I wouldn’t imagine he is. Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”

Shortly after the outburst, Schnapp clarified that he and Doja were “all good”, as he posted a video of himself playing a game set to her song ‘Kiss Me More’.

In other Doja Cat news, crypto hackers recently took over her X account and attempted to ignite a beef with Iggy Azalea.

The attempt at igniting beef was quickly smothered by Azalea, who posted: “Don’t buy this y’all. She’s hacked. Save your money, the market’s down as it is…”

In June, Doja also kicked off her European and UK tour, performing at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. The gig scored a four-star review from Janessa Williams, who wrote for NME: “What you get from her is a seamless show trimmed of all the fat, one that aims to celebrate the lane of her own artistic satisfaction, unbothered by those who do not see her skill. When it’s working this well, why shouldn’t she do things her way?”
