Sugababes’ original line-up ā€“ Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan andĀ Siobhan Donaghy ā€“ will perform a headline set at Mighty Hoopla 2022 after releasing an expanded reissue of their 2000 debut album, ā€˜One Touchā€™, last year.

Speaking to NME last May, the trio explained that “COVID threw a spanner in the works” after they began to record new material prior to the pandemic, “but weā€™ve got so much material that we need to work through.”

Donaghy continued: “We probably need to do a little more recording. As soon as we can get back together in the studio, weā€™re going to work on something fresh.

“But thereā€™s a lot of material that I feel we should collate together because itā€™s some of our best work ever and it would be a shame for it not to be released properly.ā€
