Kelly Osbourne and Slipknot's Sid Wilson

Kelly Osbourne has insisted that her son is “not scared” of his father Sid Wilson’s Slipknot mask.

Osbourne is in a relationship with the masked metal band’s turntablist, and had been friends with him for over 20 years before the pair started dating. They have a child together, Sidney, who was born in 2022.

During a recent episode of The Osbournes Podcast, she read out a comment from a viewer who asked: “Is baby Sidney ever afraid of big Sidney when he’s in his Slipknot masks?”

In response, Osbourne said: “No. I thought he was going to [be scared of it], and it’s something that we introduced very slowly and we waited until he was at least a year old. But as soon as [Wilson] puts the mask on, he finds it so hilarious.”

She continued: “When he sees all his uncles backstage in the masks, he loves it, he’s not scared. But if the Easter Bunny or Mickey Mouse came up to him, or The Grinch, he’d absolutely shit himself.

“There’s something about the guys in Slipknot that he loves. I guess it’s because he knows the guys behind the mask. I dunno, it’s really cute.”

Osbourne added: “He just grabs onto his dad when he sees him in the mask, it’s really sweet.”

In the same episode, Osbourne said she “regrets” quitting music and has thought about what her life would have been like had she continued in the industry: “Will I do anything about that regret? I don’t know.”

Last November, Jack Osbourne revealed that his young daughter loves Ozzy‘s song ‘Crazy Train’, but is “scared” of her grandfather in real life.

In other Osbournes news, Black Sabbath‘s Geezer Butler recently said that Ozzy “desperately wants” to play one final show with the band.

Slipknot, meanwhile, are set to release new music “really soon” after announcing their first track with new drummer Eloy Casagrande.
