Jack White performing live on stage

Jack White has released his surprise new album ‘No Name’ online – you can listen to it in full below.

The former White Stripes frontman shared the digital edition of the 13-track record today (August 2) via Third Man, marking his sixth solo effort.

White dropped the physical version of ‘No Name’ last month by slipping the vinyl into customers’ bags at branches of Third Man Records in London, Nashville and Detroit. He also encouraged fans to “rip” the album and share it online.

At the time, the record sleeve carried no information about its contents, simply reading ‘No Name’ on the label. Rolling Stone reported that White’s publicist was “as surprised as everyone else” about the unexpected release.

Elsewhere, Detroit radio station WDET 101.9FM helped tease the project by playing it in its entirety on air.

‘No Name’, which was produced by White, is now available on all major streaming platforms. The album includes songs such as ‘Old Scratch Blues’, ‘That’s How I’m Feeling’, ‘Archbishop Harold Holmes’, ‘Number One With a Bullet’ and ‘Missionary’.

You can listen below via Spotify and Apple Music, or through your desired online service here.

The singer-songwriter has also announced an intimate hometown show at the 1,000-capacity St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, Michigan. Tickets go on sale at 12pm ET today – you can sign up to buy yours here.

It’ll follow recent small gigs in Nashville, Atlanta and Athens where White has showcased material from ‘No Name’. Check out the post above.

Next week, White is scheduled to appear at Way Out West in Sweden (August 8), Øya Festival in Norway (9) and Syd For Solen in Denmark (10). He is replacing Queens Of The Stone Age at the events, as Josh Homme remains under “medical care” in the US.
