Garbage deliver a set that’ll be hard to top…
Shirley Manson and co. tore up the Region of Madrid, performing blistering renditions of ‘Push It’, ‘Cherry Lips’ and more before fellow ’90s rock icons The Smashing Pumpkins closed out the stage.
Dua Lipa heats up the festival as the sun goes down
The pop star followed up her huge headline show at Glastonbury with another breathtaking set on the Mad Cool stage, and brought a feel-good energy that left us feeling like we were levitating.
Sexyy Red triumphs on the Orange Stage
Sexyy Red also brought an unmissable set as the sun began to set on day one, and brought a very different energy to the stage as she followed on from Nothing But Thieves.
Crawlers come back fighting
Returning to Mad Cool, Liverpool rockers Crawlers took over the Mahou O,O Tostada stage to close out the night, and performed a set fans couldn’t take their eyes off.
And to close out night one, The Smashing Pumpkins break out the hits
What better way to end night one than by bringing out ’90s alt-rock legends The Smashing Pumpkins, who introduced new guitarist Kiki Wong to the stage and performed back-to-back fan favourites including ‘1979’, ‘Cherub Rock’ and many more.
