Morrissey has announced a North American tour for later this year, which starts on Halloween.
The former Smiths frontman will kick off the run of shows in Houston and will play across the continent throughout November. He will make stops in Dallas, Little Rock, Birmingham, Knoxville, Durham, Baltimore, Newark, Atlantic City, Rochester, Niagra Falls, Flint and Indianapolis before wrapping up in Waukegan on November 23.
The shows have been announced off the back of Morrissey’s two-night run at the House Of Blues inside Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas last month.
“There is currently something happening, a finesse and ferocity coming from Morrissey and the band that is unparalleled to anything I’ve seen in my tenure as Morrissey’s guitarist for over 21 years. It’s an infectious excitement coming from him directly manifesting through the band and into the audience leaving everyone in a euphoric state,” his touring guitarist Jesse Tobias said.
“As much as he and the band have historically been put against the ropes, doubted, disregarded and judged while others are given a free pass, Morrissey and the band will liberate and astound everyone with our forthcoming releases and shows … that’s if you are open to music as a method for change and genuine excitement.”

Meanwhile, Morrissey recently shared that he has bought back the rights to two of his albums, after a long-running dispute with his label Capitol Records.
He has been locked in battle with Capitol for a number of years, after his album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’ went unreleased, despite being completed in 2021.
The album had been announced for a 2023 release on Capitol, but Morrissey later said he had “voluntarily withdrawn from any association with Capitol Records”. He also revealed that Miley Cyrus, who recorded backing vocals for the track ‘I Am Veronica’ in 2020, had asked to have her vocals removed from the song.
In a post on his website Morrissey Central, titled ‘A Rush And A Push And The Music Is Ours’, in reference to a 1987 Smiths song, he has said that he has bought the rights to release that album.
“Morrissey has paid the exit fee to Capitol Records in order to return both WORLD PEACE IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS and BONFIRE OF TEENAGERS albums back to him,” the post reads.
“It’s been a long, hard, bloody war. Few would make it out alive, and … I’m no exception. Morrissey remains unsigned.”
