The show â which took place at The Eden Project in St. Austell last night (May 16) â opened with âThe Foundations Of Decayâ. It was followed by a pair of tracks from 2004âs âThree Cheers For Sweet Revengeâ â âHelenaâ and âGive âEm Hell, Kidâ â before My Chem steered the focus to their âDanger Daysâ era.Â
They performed âMake Room!!!!â from that albumâs B-side compilation, âConventional Weaponsâ, marking the second time it had ever been played (the first being their December â19 comeback show in LA). Two more tracks from âConventional Weaponsâ were given their live debuts, with âSurrender The Nightâ tucked in the middle of the set, and âBoy Divisionâ kicking off the encore. âKiss The Ringâ was soundchecked, too, but didnât appear in the actual set.
Another highlight from the show was âThis Is How I Disappearâ, from the iconic 2006 album âThe Black Paradeâ, which My Chem performed for the first time since 2010. The main set ended on another âBlack Paradeâ cut, âSleepâ, while the encore was wrapped up with âDanger Daysâ swansong âThe Kids Of Yesterdayâ.
Have a look at fan-shot footage from the gig below â as well as a shot of their merch table, seemingly hinting at a project labelled âSWARMâ â then check out their full setlist:
Sure seems like there's a My Chemical Romance album on the way, and it's probably called Swarm.
